Moonlight Homestead

Not long after the Dovetail team met these delightful clients, we all realized the irony of the situation — we were being asked to build a beautiful retreat in Big Sky’s Moonlight Basin by a family that boasts three generations of fine home building history in Armonk, New York. The irony is in the fact that Dovetail’s Tim and Kevin were first introduced to fine homebuilding in Pleasantville, New York, just the next village over, and Tim had worked in Armonk as a young carpenter’s apprentice. For that reason, it was especially rewarding for us to take on this project, and share our passion for fine-home-building with someone who not only appreciates the details, but also can share in our love of Montana.
